We know that Betta Fish is a very beautiful and shy fish. Betta Fish are native to Asia, where they live in wetlands, ponds, or shallow waters. Male beta rays are devoted fathers who build bubble nests for their babies with their mouths and terribly protect their babies from predators. Let's see how long betta fish can survive.

Properly covered, it will withstand a lot of adverse conditions. Sometimes they can live up to 10 years longer with the oldest beta fish legends! This is a bit more than most Betta owners expect, but with some luck and smart decisions, your beta can reach 5 years and possibly beyond.

Betta Fish Behaviors

It is a very aggressive and regional fish, defending its territory, Betta fish presents among its main features, an aggressive instinct. His aggressive reaction is seen when the mirror is placed inside or outside the fish tank and he sees his reflection in it. The men fight with real violence among themselves until they win, either leaving a hull and hiding so as not to attack or die before the opponent can attack, which is why two beta men cannot be kept in the same tank.

Betta Fish Food

Betta Fish Reproduction

Fans of beta fish or Siamese fighters are aware that breeding this species is one of the most exciting but equally difficult processes, as it requires a lot of perseverance, space, and strategy. Before acquiring the couple you want to reproduce, you must prepare the place where the breeding is to take place, that is, the fish tank, which must be less than 40 liters in volume, and the temperature must be between 26 and 28 degree centigrade and a good filter along with suitable habitat and ecosystem, but one that does not make too much noise, where the fish will be kept, although separated by a glass screen, the pair will see each other but they do not have physical contact.

A reproduction will occur when the male beta is attracted to the female, which will be known because the male will start to build bubbles on the surface of the water. To make this bubble nest, the male takes air from the surface and blows it through his mouth. Each bubble formed in this way is covered by a thin dripping layer which makes them resistant, in addition to allowing them to stick to each other, which makes it easier for the eggs to stay inside the nest.

In better breeding, the male lays eggs, which last about 2 to 4 days, depending on the temperature. While the beta is incubating, if an egg falls out of the nest, the male is responsible for pushing it back, something he will do as many times as he needs to.

From the above, we learn how beta fish flows its life and its full life system.
